RREE-USE (pronounced as Re-use) is a Proletarian Power sponsored project.
Proletarian Power is a not-for-profit entity primarily engaged in analyzing the macroeconomic environment in India from ‘public interest’ angle. You may visit proletarianpower.org to know more.
Purpose of this project is twofold, one - to create income generating opportunities for the proletariat/unskilled-workers and two - to launch and to test ‘Shree Currency’, the community/local currency designed by Proletarian Power. Pollution control, of course, is a natural positive outcome. Our main focus under this project would be the domestic segment. Further, under this project we would also like to focus on the following:

1. Educating people about consequences of plastic pollution and educating them about how individuals can reduce it, if not eliminate it completely.
2. Exploring possibilities, wherever possible and feasible, to replace plastic with other eco friendly materials.
3. Exploring the possibilities of replacing single use plastic items with reusable plastics.
4. Eventually, as a last resort, facilitating efficient recycling of used plastic and stopping it from going to landfills.
